WORDS FROM THE PASTOR

We are co-workers in the vineyard of the Lord. We are a family, united by faith in the Most Holy Eucharist. However, that doesn’t mean there will be no challenges. We, as a parish family, are experiencing multiple defining moments, choices that reveal, test, and shape us. Let us continue praying for each other. It is important for us to walk with our parishioners on this difficult journey. The main thing is that we don’t lose hope and don’t become discouraged. It’s still one faith, one church, one baptism. It may not be the same building, but we’re all a part of that one faith. More details will be made available at all Sunday Masses.

BAPTISM

Last weekend, we celebrated Benjamin Maloney’s baptism at St. Finnan’s.  North Glengarry Parishes are rejoicing with parents: Mathew & Amanda! Warmest wishes on your baptism Benjamin and welcome to our community of faith!

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

Children must be in the second grade or higher and have prepared for and celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Registrations are open for Baptisms, First Communion and Confirmation.  Please see the website:  https://stfinnan.ca/sacraments/ for the 2023-24 preparation schedule and/or for more information, please email Lorne at director@stfinnan.ca or call him at 613-525-1340 extension 2103.
