FROM OUR PASTOR

Our Parish Renewal Committee members’ mandate is to advance the mission of our parish family, as we grow in our parish identity. We have gathered all year and prayed at the different town hall meetings, including the last two recap sessions from May 10, and 18. The conversation continues, and we look forward to sharing more on our journey together very soon. See announcement for details. Let us pray together as we journey forward.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE

This past Friday we were excited to host our final night of ultimate frisbee in the Alexandria Dome. The final indoor games capped off a winter-long program of ultimate frisbee every Friday night for the past six months and highlighted the growth of faith in our local community. The final event hosted nearly one hundred people, with a bouncy castle for the children and games of ultimate frisbee split between four teams for the adults and older youth. Our parish community hopes to continue the momentum and foster an environment where faith and fun can coexist vibrantly. Starting May 19th, we will be continuing ultimate frisbee outdoors at 7 PM in Alexandria Park. If you or someone you know would be interested, come out Friday nights or email director@stfinnan.ca for more information!
