Pray for our Alpha Attendees
Last Saturday morning, 11 of our North Glengarry Parishes team leaders joined St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Montreal West, online for prayer ministry training in preparation for our Alpha retreat weekend.
St. Ignatius of Loyola, with ten years Alpha experience including three online, is hosting the summit with two other Montreal parishes. After reaching out to them, researching how best to have an online Alpha Retreat, St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish invited us to join them. Our NGP Team jumped at the chance to work with them!
“Wow, if that was only the Prayer Ministry training session, The Summit weekend is going to be something special,” commented one of our own seasoned team leaders!
Please pray for our 35 participants, as we journey together online at the Alpha Summit in expectation of experiencing the fruits of the Holy Spirit!
Adoration – Super Fridays
Adoration is a precious invitation from the Lord to rest in His presence and find silence in a noisy troubled world. For a community, Adoration is an opportunity to ground our unity as the Body of Christ on being a community who gather around the Lord regularly and offer him worship and praise.
The fruits of Adoration are deeper peace and deeper faith. Adoration, for a parish community that takes it on is a commitment, requires some sacrifice of time and energy. But, the rewards are great!
During Lent, we have Adoration every Friday from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm. All are welcome! If you would like to be a committed adorer, which means you commit to the same hour every first Friday of the month, contact Linda (613.525.0356) or Hilda (613.525.1748).
St. Joseph Study
This Monday is our last gathering for our St. Joseph Study. If you haven’t had a chance to participate, be sure to join us on Monday, March 15, 2021. Click here for more information and be sure to bring your favourite snack!
We’re adding an additional mass on Friday, March 19 at 7:00 pm (St. Finnan Church) for all those who want to come celebrate the feast of St. Joseph.
