Nota Bene: January 7, 2024

Today we discuss the theology of gifts. Notice the order of events in the Magi’s visit. First, they knelt before Jesus and prayed to Him.Then they presented Him with their gifts. We, too, must take time to pray before we present our gifts to the Lord. We never know what God may be asking us to share! What is God calling us to? Please pray for your Parish Pastoral and Finance Council for their meetings next week as we continue to discern the next steps for our parish. Thank you for your prayers on our journey of parish renewal, for sharing your gifts with St. Vincent de Paul during the Christmas season. Please continue to pray for our parish, and our ongoing pastoral and spiritual conversion. It is a privilege to be your pastor, and your parish priest. It is a joy for me to see you serving, and sharing your gifts with our parish family.
“The Lord has done great things for us.” Happy Holy New Year.
