Nota Bene: April 7, 2024

On this second Sunday of Easter, we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. We celebrate this feast today since God’s mercy was shared with us through the resurrection of Jesus. To put it simply, today, we are celebrating Jesus’ merciful love for us and how we can partake in it. Let us continue to celebrate today, as we are in the midst of our glorious Easter season! As we celebrate, may we recall the precious gift God has given to us through His Son — Mercy itself. May we never forget that, with a contrite heart and a resolution to do better, God is always willing to forgive. And may we never withhold merciful love from anyone we meet.

For our parish community, that the Holy Spirit would move us to live Eucharistic lives in worship and in service, let us pray to the Lord.

Please keep our parishioners in your prayers:
Marie Aubin, Rodney Benton, Richard Burns, Sacha Cardinal, Susan and John Clark, Christopher Coleman,
Melanie Damphousse, Robert Dupuis, Dolly Goodwin, Loretta Fernandez, Roger Giroux, Patrick Kealty, Krista Kirkwood, Henny Lacroix, Lillian Lacroix, Robert Lavigne, Gwen Leblanc, Diane Leroux,
Nicole Leroux, Barbara Macdonell, Sharon Martin, Madison McDermid, Marcel Robinson, Joe Rolland, Michael Scott, Patrick and Sue Shannon, Michael Shannon, Braydon Topping, Joanna VanderWielen,

Back in December our parish had commitment Sunday, where parishioners fill out commitment cards during mass. Many Parishioners committed to praying for our parish.  Thank you!  At the back of all the Church you will find a Parish Prayer card.  Please take one for your family so we can be united in prayer.  We encourage you to pray it on a daily or weekly basis.  We believe dependence on God is essential for the renewal of the faith in Glengarry.

Attending my Cursillo weekend lit a fire within me, bringing a conversion in me to not only want to have faith but to be alive in my faith. I continue to grow in my relationship with Jesus every day and am so thankful for my ‘yes’ to the weekend that started it all.” For more information please contact: Maureen Miller 613-363-4063.
