It’s Mission Week

Fr. Allan MacDonald, CC will be joining us this weekend and into the beginning of this week for our Lenten Mission!

Join us for our Lenten Mission beginning this Sunday. 

The Schedule for the mission is as follows:

  • Sunday, April 3: 11:00 am Mass at St. Finnan’s Basilica
  • Monday, April 4: 6:00 pm Confession
    • 7:00 pm Mass with extended Homily
  • Tuesday, April 5: 6:00 pm Confession
    • 7:00 pm Mass with extended Homily
  • Wednesday, April 6: 6:00 pm Confession
    • 7:00 pm Mass with extended Homily

Fr. Allan heralds from our neighborhood. He was ordained at St. Finnan’s Basilica and was a pastor at St. Anthony’s parish. We welcome Fr. Allan back this weekend!

The Stations of the Cross Continue

The Stations of the Cross continue this week. 

  • St. James’ Church in Maxville on Friday, April 8 at 11:00 am
  • St. Finnan’s Basilica in Alexandria on Wednesday, April 6 at 6:30 pm. The stations will be followed by Mass at 7:00 pm. 
Prayers for Ukraine and Russia

Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayers will be said at St. Finnan’s immediately following the 8:00am Mass Tuesday, March 22 and 29. All are welcome.

With the easing of COVID restrictions we are getting busy! Be sure to check out the event calendar for all the events this week at the North Glengarry Parishes. Praise the Lord!
