I Have a Dream – Pastor’s Blog

I do have a dream! This past Thursday night was the first Leadership meeting in our North Glengarry parishes. We all gathered in our new parish office to discuss, and discern ways to grow the Catholic faith in our families and communities. Thanks to all who attended.

“I have a dream” is not only an ABBA song, but it was the way I started our meeting. I never sang, but I did quote a few of the lyrics. Each of us also shared with the group highlights from our parish, and ministries. All ministries work together for the parishes. Please continue to pray for the success of this new Pastoral Year.

First Communion – Sacramental Preparation

Welcome to an exciting and rewarding faith filled year for your child and family. Your child in Grade Two, Three or Four is invited to prepare to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation (October or March) and First Holy Eucharist (December, or May).

Confirmation – Sacramental Preparation

Welcome to an exciting and rewarding faith-filled year for your family. Your child in Grade Six, Seven or Eight, is invited to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in November 2021.

The Final Countdown – Pastor’s Blog

As citizens, Canadian Catholics also have an obligation to be interested in political life and to exercise their civic responsibilities by participating in the electoral process, particularly by voting.

The final countdown is on.  Let’s exercise our right to vote.  Have a great week.  Peace.
