CWL 100th Anniversary
St. Finnan’s parish council of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada marked its 100th anniversary on May 25th, 2021. Since our churches were in pandemic lockdown at that time, the celebration of this milestone was deferred until fall. We hope you have enjoyed reading the decade-by-decade summaries of the parish’s CWL history on St. Finnan’s website. Fr. Jonathan Blake, our council’s Spiritual Director, will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for 100 years of St. Finnan’s CWL service “to God and Canada” on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 at 11a.m. Please keep the members of the Catholic Women’s League in prayer as we gather with parishioners to celebrate this joyful milestone! Our Lady of Good Counsel, pray for us.
