God dwells in our midst, in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar.

*a recap to our last Parish Pastoral Council meeting (November 1)

On November 1st, the former members of our Parish Pastoral Council met to begin the discussion on the next steps for our parish family. We shared our reflections as the decrees were read at all our Sunday Masses, and what stewardship is, and how to take it to the next level. We are currently in a Preaching Series on Stewardship, discussing what it means to serve our parish and community through our time, talents, and treasure.

Our team also discussed the ongoing ALPHA sessions, Youth Ministry, Seniors Ministry, and how to reach out to our parishioners. We spent some time on what it means for our parish to have radical hospitality.

We also took some time to plan the upcoming Advent and Christmas Season. The details will be made available next week. Again, my plan is to announce the new Parish Pastoral and Finance Councils the First Week of Advent, as we prepare for our Commitment Sunday, December 2/3.

Finally, as a new parish, with new councils forming, we also discussed for some time what the best Sunday Mass options would be. This fall we added a Monday night Mass, 6pm, and Adoration continues every Friday from 8am to 4pm.

However, we are asking all our parishioners for their feedback and their preferred Sunday Mass times. Below is a form that will help our parish team make a decision for January 2024.

Please take time to discern which option would be best for you, your family, and our parish family. Thanks again for participating. Come Holy Spirit.

The Eucharist is the sacrament of love: it signifies love, it produces love.
The Eucharist is the consummation of the whole spiritual life.
