Jesus, I Trust In You

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

The Second Sunday of Easter is known as Divine Mercy Sunday. We are preparing to celebrate this time of mercy with our North Glengarry Parishes in a particular way. The novena begins Good Friday, April 2. Please consider joining us April 11th, from 2pm to 4pm, at St. Finnan’s. All are welcome.

The Divine Mercy message and devotion is one we can call to mind simply by remembering ABC:

A – Ask for His Mercy. God wants us to approach Him in prayer constantly, repenting of our sins and asking Him to pour His mercy out upon us and upon the whole world.

B – Be merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and let it flow through us to others. He wants us to extend love and forgiveness to others just as He does to us.

C – Completely trust in Jesus. God wants us to know that all the graces of His mercy can only be received by our trust. The more we open the door of our hearts and lives to Him with trust, the more we can receive.

The Message of Divine Mercy has always been near and dear to me … which I took with me to the See of Peter and which it in a sense forms the image of this Pontificate.
