Slow down, you move too fast

You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the cobblestones
Looking for fun and feeling groovy

Frs. Rob & Jon:
Since the second lockdown restrictions, I have been busy with our teams discerning how to keep people connected! I am very proud of our ALPHA Team, the sharing we get to do online. Also, we have been sharing via ZOOM too in preparation for the Consecration to St. Joseph. However, now that restrictions are lifting, and we are welcoming are parishioners back to mass, back to church, things have been busier! On this particular video chat with Fr. Rob, I confess that I lost my balance, and have been feeling tired. Priests need to be faithful to their day off. Starting Monday, March 22nd, I will be once again taking Mondays off. Leadership is not only for and with others, but about yourself too. Let us continue praying for one another. Peace.
Are you in charge of a parish? If so, do not neglect the parish of your own soul, do not give yourself to others so completely that you have nothing left for yourself. You have to be mindful of your people without becoming forgetful of yourself.
