Volunteer Appreciation Night

at St. Anthony’s Church, Apple Hill

The week of April 14 is National Volunteer Appreciation Week:

… where we come together to recognize and celebrate the importance of each and every volunteer’s impact from coast to coast. It highlights the importance of every volunteer and each contribution they make at a moment when we need support more than ever.

Our parish would also like to join in, and i hope you can join us too! The theme this year is: Every Moment Matters. In the past few months we have been discussing taking our stewardship to the next level, and building the parish for the next generation. Thank you again to every parishioner who gives and serves the mission and ministry of the parish through their time, talent, and treasure.

Our preaching series last fall led us to review and renew our commitment to the parish with our Commitment Cards. We also followed this up with the Stewardship Conference in February. It is a gift to give, and indeed there is a joy of giving.

As we begin our Easter season overwhelmed by joy, please join our Parish Pastoral and Finance Council members, and many others on April 15. Mass will begin at 6pm, followed by a wine and cheese in the church hall. Please RSVP (yes or no) to the Parish Office by phone: 613-525-1340, extension 2104, or by email: office@stfinnan.ca

Thanks again to Ann McMillan and her team for organizing this beautiful event!

Hope to see you there! Peace.

As each one has received a gift,
use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied graces.
