CHRISTMASTIME

Merry Christmas! The last four weeks of Advent have prepared us to
discover the light is found in God in Our Lord Jesus Christ. Let there
be light. The Gospel of Christmas Day, John 1:1-18, also reminds us,
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome
it.”

SPECIAL COLLECTION

This is a reminder of the upcoming collection of your New Year’s offering next weekend:  January 1, 2023. Being New Year’s falls on a Sunday this year, we greatly appreciate your special one-time donation.  Your generous financial contributions support the mission in our North Glengarry Parishes.  The initial offering of $3 to offset the cost of the envelopes is also requested at this time.

ALPHA

Sincerest thanks are extended to all who contributed to the success of our latest Alpha at Shalom House. We deeply appreciate the efforts of everyone who prayed for, contributed to, and participated in our weekly sessions from September through November, and at our Alpha Summit weekend. A new community of friends was formed under the guidance of the Holy Spirit!
Guests and hosts, watch for news of our Alpha Reunion Celebration in the New Year. Until then, we join our prayers with yours, nurturing together the seeds of faith planted during Alpha.
We wish you a fruitful Advent and a blessed Christmas season. See you in 2023!
Sincerely in Christ, The NGP Alpha Team
