Let there be light.
Does it ever feel like Advent and Christmas turn into a scramble of last-minute planning and coordination?
It doesn’t have to. As a parish staff we are learning to slow down. There are so many different activities that sometimes we are worried and distracted by many things.
Please note of the extra Confession Times available during the Season of Advent: every Saturday from 3pm to 4:45pm. All are welcome. Let’s prepare ourselves to encounter God’s love and mercy.
Finally, here are some other activities in the coming weeks that will help us all to prepare our hearts, as we enter into this beautiful Advent Season, looking forward to the Mystery of the Incarnation, the Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ at Christmas. May God bless you, and Mary protect you. Peace.

Light is a necessary part of life. It provides clarity and direction so we can make our way. It provides safety and security. At this time of the year, we feel the absence of light. May this time of Advent invite us to look at our need for light and see how Jesus is the true light of the world.
